Dr. Powell is part of a group of advisors and colleagues who are leading the state of Georgia in innovation and decisions regarding the practice of dentistry. Additionally, he sits on the COVID-19 Task Force for the Georgia Dental Association. Our office continues to stay current with the guidelines set forth by the CDC and the Georgia Dental Association. We take infection control very seriously and have a number of safeguards in place for your protection against all infectious diseases.

• When you arrive for your appointment, we ask that you alert us by either ringing our doorbell or calling from your vehicle
• We will come outside for a temperature check and a short questionnaire
• We ask that you wait in your vehicle until we are ready to seat you in the dental chair
• All surfaces are wiped down with medical grade infection control protocol in between each and every patient interaction
• Patients do not cross each other
• Our team wears KN95 masks, protective eyewear, face shields, medical gloves, medical scrubs, and medical gowns
• We have installed state-of-the-art medical grade filtration units in all our operatories
• We have installed blue light technology on our new air filtration system
